With no respite from the heavy rain for two continuous days there are reports of several minor landslides at different places in the Hills. However, no major damages and casualties were reported. Heavy rain and strong winds has created havoc with landslides and uprooted trees badly affecting and damaging Pankhabari roads at three different points. Mud slips and debris from the upper rims of the Hills have crashed down into Pankhabari roads and at some points trees have also fallen and waylaid some stretch of the road till noon.
